DressSizeCalculate.com exists because “I’m usually a size 8” is not a sizing system. Between vanity sizing, brand-specific ease allowances, and half a dozen international standards, the same body can be a US 6, a UK 10, and an EU 38 — often within the same week.
We built a free calculator that takes the three measurements that actually matter — bust, waist, and hips — and translates them into every major sizing system using published anthropometric data. No sign-up. No measurement storage. No affiliate incentives pointing you toward a particular brand’s chart.

How the calculator thinks
Built on Real Standards
We mapped the measurement brackets from ASTM D5585 (US women’s apparel), ISO 8559-1 (garment sizing by body dimensions), and EN 13402 (European nominal body sizes) into a single conversion engine covering US, UK, EU, FR, IT, and JP systems.
Split-Size Analysis
Bodies rarely fit one uniform size. Our engine compares bust-to-hip and waist-to-hip ratios independently, so a size 8 top with size 10 hips produces genuinely useful “size up for hips” advice instead of a single misleading number.
Silhouette Recommendations
A measurement tells you the number, not the dress. We pair your result with cut-specific advice — A-line, bodycon, fit-and-flare, shift — because the right size in the wrong silhouette still fits poorly.
